Free Fitness & Nutrition Classes
Healthier Texas offers free, fitness and nutrition classes to all Texans and all fitness levels! Formats include Zumba, yoga, MixxedFit and more. Classes are available in English and Spanish.
Zumba Toning
Elevate your ZUMBA® experience with Zumba Toning! This high-energy class blends fun, traditional Zumba with muscle-sculpting exercises using light weights or toning sticks. You'll groove to upbeat Latin and international rhythms while toning and strengthening your arms, core, and lower body. Perfect for all fitness levels, Zumba Toning adds an extra layer of intensity, helping you burn calories and build lean muscle while dancing to your favorite tunes. Get ready to dance, tone, and have a blast!
Strength Fusion
Strength Fusion combines heart-pumping cardio intervals with muscle-strengthening moves and gentle, low-impact exercises to give you a balanced, full-body workout. Whether you’re looking to improve your endurance, build strength, or tone up, this class provides a comprehensive approach to fitness that’s easy on the joints but delivers powerful results.
MixxedFit®
MixxedFit® is a people-inspired dance fitness program that is a perfect blend of explosive dancing and boot camp inspired toning. Everything about this dance fitness program is big, exaggerated, and explosive! All fitness levels are welcome!
Rise & Thrive
Designed to improve strength, balance, and mobility, this workout mimics real-life movements to help you move better and feel stronger in your daily activities. Through a mix of bodyweight exercises, and functional movements, this class builds a solid foundation for overall fitness. Whether you’re a beginner or a fitness enthusiast , modifications and progressions ensure a challenging and rewarding experience for all fitness levels.
Strength & Stability
This low-impact, full-body workout focuses on improving your strength, balance, control through muscle strengthening exercises and stability training. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class combines movements with core engagement to help you feel stronger, move with confidence, and improve your overall body awareness. Join us for an empowering workout that leaves you feeling steady, strong, and ready to take on your day!

Total Knockout
Get ready to punch, kick, and sweat your way to a stronger, fitter you! This high-energy class combines traditional kickboxing moves with cardio movements to give you a full-body workout. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class will help you build strength, improve coordination, and boost your endurance.

Chair Yoga
A gentle flow yoga class focus on the breath. Moving with the intention of creating space in the body and releasing tension from the body and mind. In Chair yoga we use a chair as the main prop. We practice modified postures that are accessible for everybody and will increase body awareness.

The Community Challenge unites Texans from across the state to build a healthier Texas. This free eight-week competition challenges Texans to develop simple healthy habits like eating healthy, exercising, and staying hydrated because our everyday choices shape our health and our future.
